Ok I lied

So I lied when this site was no longer maintained. I should have said that I’ve been too busy to post to this site. That’s what I really meant.

Just for the record, I won’t be releasing new versions of any plugin or module I’ve written, but as new versions of Expression Engine come out, I will try to make sure they at least work.

So there you go, from the horses mouth, if I said anything dissimilar to you before, please disregard whatever I said.

On that note, I’ve actually made a new plugin, but I probably won’t release it just yet, since only one person really wanted it. :)

However, I am alive, and doing well!

Editing Comments

Here’s something cool. Paul released an AJAX edit comments plugin for our pleasure. I’m loving it and it works great! I’m guessing now, after using del.icio.us and all these other utilities, that I will soon have to learn some AJAX and get into the swing of things, and put it into the linklist. But then again, Paul might just incorporate it into EE pretty soon…Who can say! :P

If you feel like playing around with the editing of comments, make some and see what you can edit to see what it looks like. I’m gonna have to get things going for the styles for that though at least. It doesn’t look overly pretty. But the fact that I do have it is kinda nice!

I’ve updated this tag to enable you to display any member field in the database from the exp_members table.

Therefore you’ll also be able to display 1 if you wish to link to your member area, as described here

Since it came to my attention that the birthday plugin doesn’t work in PHP 4.4, I’ve gone and updated it. You should re-download the plugin if you are running PHP 4.4. Sorry for the delay!

Finally “officially” releasing this plugin. I know Paul fixed it up in the past, so I guess I should finally get around to actually making it work. So here’s the update for It’s your birthday, nothing has changed in it except that it’s now updated for 1.3. :) Enjoy!

On This Day Plugin v3.0.1 is released. This is a bug fix update. If you were using the conditional, it wasn’t displaying anything if there were no results. Fixed!

You can download the bug fix from the Downloads page.

On This Day Plugin (3.0)

I’ve again re-written the On This Day Plugin with MUCH help from Paul. (Because he’s the man) This plugin now utilizes the Weblogs Module to actually do the parsing of information. Please unpack and put the pi.onthisday.php file in your /systems/plugins directory to get it rolling.

There is a README included with the archive. Take a look and use the example before actually trying to use it live!

There was a small bug in the plugin that didn’t show some of the normal tags. (like {title}) Please just re-download the file if you downloaded it prior to this post.

On This Day Plugin (2.0)

i’m now releasing the On This Day Plugin version 2.0. It’s been totally rewritten/hacked/etc. This plugin is basically a stripped down version of the exp:weblog:entries tag, so it should be quite familiar. There are a couple of things that are a bit different. Sorry that I don’t have a changes file, I’ve lost most of my old documentation and was going on just what was in the plugin itself.

To install the plugin, simply put the plugin file into your /system/plugins directory, then load up your plugin manager to view the usage for this plugin. If you have any issues or bugs, please let me know!

You can download the plugin from the Downloads Page.

Member Info Plugin

I’m releasing a new plugin, the Member Info Plugin. This plugin is basically a small quick and dirty plugin I needed to use to display various data from the exp_members table. It’s straightforward and relatively easy to use.

More details are in the README.txt file. You can download the plugin from the downloads section of the front page on the left hand side.
