It’s like thanksgiving today. Happy turkey day, and make sure you eat your fill. I plan on it! I don’t have to really cook today though. Not that I wouldn’t mind, we’re just going to Meesh’s brother’s place for the feast. Should be fun. I’m sure between me and her brother we’ll eat some serious grub.

Happy Valentine’s Day! Normally I don’t care, but this year, having a Friday the 13th right into Valentine’s Day just kinda gives me warm fuzzies.

Ok, so I had to try this out. I went ahead and downloaded ExpressionEngine and got everything set up, and lo behold, I get a problem with the encryption. My server won’t support it. They’re using a third party encryption system to protect their files. I can totally understand this. I’ve put in for support and await a solution.

Regardless of that installation issue, the features look incredibly promising. From the add-ons list, it looks as if a great source for a gigantic hosted blog site. i.e. Like TypePad. I’m not sure how robust it will be, and how it would compare with a premium service like TypePad though. We shall see! I’m pretty excited.

Ok, so pMachine announced ExpressionEngine today. Basically it’s the next generation pMachine Pro. I’m just wondering if this is for the “bigger” sites and considered “enterprise”. The package costs $199, and is $99 for upgrades from pMachine Pro.

I added a few more songs to my radio.blog today. It’s down there in the navigation box if you haven’t seen it already. I’ve only uploaded Jpop for those who like it. I’ve got mainly songs from Japanese Drama such as Love Generation, Hero, Home and Away and more. I’ve also put a couple of globe songs in there as well. There are some pretty good songs in there. I’ll be working on getting a few more in there and keeping the songs fresh. If you have any requests, let me know!

Thanks to jules I just added radio.blog. Basically I can stream songs to people just like normal internet radio. It’s really kinda cool. I’m really liking it so far. Now I’m off to figure out what songs I want to put into my playlist.

I’ve finally upgraded to pMachine. I’ve working on a few kinks here and there, but I’ve managed to revive my “clouds…” skin that I used a while back. I guess the next step is working on skins. Though I’m not entirely sure how I’m going to work that out. We shall see.

I’ve been toying around with the idea to convert to pMachine. It looks pretty much what I like, and seems rather powerful. I was particularly impressed with the forum they have on their site. It’s completely run by pMachine.

Anyone have any advice?

I thought about Movable Type as well, but it just seems too complicated for me!

It’s snowing again. There will be more freezing rain and things falling from the sky. Damn that groundhog! Why oh why must he predict more winter!

I have been sick. I have not posted anything in the past few days. Nothing has happened except I thought I had the super flu. I suddenly felt a need to go to Colorado. It was the strangest thing!

I believe that is all.

I just got done watching Singles again for the billionth time. I love that movie! Not only the music is great about this movie, it’s just one of those laughing, crying romantic comedies that I love so much. I just love the trials and tribulations the “singles” had to go through in that movie. Makes me glad I don’t have to worry about that anymore! If you haven’t seen it, rent it and see it! What took you so long?

On another note, I am trying to shoot more and more photographs. I’m trying to get my portfolio together, and could use some models to do some shots. If anyone out there is interested, please let me know! I joined up with One Model Place as a photographer. They seemed to have quite a few “famous” photographers so it looks like a good place to find models. I’m pretty impressed with the number of models and photographers in the database.

We’re supposed to get icy rain and a bit of snow tomorrow night. Just in time for Monday morning rush hour. Yay. I’m not looking forward to de-icing my car yet again after the last time. Someday, I too will have a garage. Someday.

I still think there should be a prize for not getting any numbers at all in the lottery. At least a buck. I mean, not even 1 number. I feel so unlucky.
