Editing Comments

Here’s something cool. Paul released an AJAX edit comments plugin for our pleasure. I’m loving it and it works great! I’m guessing now, after using del.icio.us and all these other utilities, that I will soon have to learn some AJAX and get into the swing of things, and put it into the linklist. But then again, Paul might just incorporate it into EE pretty soon…Who can say! :P

If you feel like playing around with the editing of comments, make some and see what you can edit to see what it looks like. I’m gonna have to get things going for the styles for that though at least. It doesn’t look overly pretty. But the fact that I do have it is kinda nice!

New design coming…

New design coming. Soon, I promise. Jules is the only one that’s seen the actual design and she liked it, so I have to put it up. I lost the CSS the file (yes, i’m a dork) so I have to redo that again. At least I don’t have to redo the actual templates. Only the CSS. :D

On a different note, I’m trying to figure out what I’m going to use for my “personal” blog. i.e. blog entries that have nothing to do with EE. I’m doing this I think for a purely researching reason, as I’m trying to get information on the new version of linklist, for improvements. Vast improvements.

Coming soon! Really!

Fix for Linklist Module 1.2.1

There’s a real quick fix for those people who are having issues with running both the magpie plugin and the linklist module on the same page. You might receiving this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class snoopy in /home/andru/public_html/sistem/plugins/pi.magpie.php on line 1798

Please redownload the linklist module from the downloads area and replace the mod.linklist.php and all should be well!

I’ve updated this tag to enable you to display any member field in the database from the exp_members table.

Therefore you’ll also be able to display 1 if you wish to link to your member area, as described here
