“new” Look and more

Well, I’ve finally finished up the last touches to the “new” design. My main goal was to make the site look pretty similar all over. And once again, when with a minimalistic (kinda) method. There are hardly any images on these pages, which should make the site load much faster and a bit more efficiently. (Not to say that having images is bad, I’m just a minimalist, remember)

If you’re having any issues accessing parts of the site, then please let me know.

The linklist beta is still ongoing if you’re looking to test this out. The more folks that try to use it the better in this case. I’ve already got stuff in store for version 1.3, and will be working on those pretty soon. (Although I’m considering just incorporating the changes into 1.2, and resending the beta to my beta testers)

Please contact me if you wish to try out the beta.

DTV: Internet TV

So Participatory Culture Foundation (PCF) just released DTV Beta for Mac. It’s pretty nice. Basically it’s a way to keep all the vlogs you might visit in check and in a central place. So far it’s been pretty easy to set up and watch. I’ve watched quite a few already, and well, I’m pretty happy with the program.

I’ll admit though, I haven’t been much of a vlog watcher myself, but perhaps this program will ease me into it. :) And if you’re wondering if I’ll ever open a vlog, I’m thinking probably not, but you never know, do you?

Oh I did also want to mention that I don’t know of too many vlogs out there. If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know.
