Ok. I just wanna know why this always has to happen at night, when I’m sleeping. Although in this case, I didn’t hear or see a damn thing. I was quite awake at this time. And how come no one has reported any mass destruction? Was it really a meteor?

There was no mass destruction because it didn’t hit anything. The boom prolly came from one of two things… it exploding in teh atmosphere or a sonic boom before it disintegrated in the atmosphere.
Oddly enough I saw a fairly bright shooting star last night here in Illinois right before I went to bed. But, it was hours before the event in the Pacific Northwest.
Did you see the video footage? There wasn’t any of the actual meteor(ite?) but in one you can see it reflected on a car very briefly.
I didn’t see that coverage zannah, i’ll have to see it. was it on the news?
I just saw that video footage on fox. That was pretty cool. So from what I understand, no one know if it went into the water or just burnt up.
I think it went into the ocean somewhere. It looked pretty damn low though from that reflection!
They interviewed a guy on Kiro who said he was an eyewitness. He said he saw it split into a bunch of pieces and burn up!
Wow, that’s awesome! I guess happening at 2:40am, no one had a video camera really handy. hehe.
Man! Imagine if that had hit in a populated area! Nuclear like explosion of disaster movie like porportions
