It’s raining today. I love the rain. I have to admit, I really like thunderstorms. It reminds me of the days in Japan when we would get typhoons, and I would just sit at the sliding glass doors watching the wind and the rain fall. Ah, the innocence of youth. The rain here so far reminds me of Japan. It’s a light drizzle, turning into hard rain, then just as quickly, it turns back into a light drizzle. Occasionally the sun will pop out and shine brightly down, while it was continuing to rain. Now that’s the kind of rain I love. I’m so glad to be in Washington. It’s good to be alive.
