It was just Easter, wasn’t it?

Just hope everyone had a happy easter! We celebrated ours on Saturday, since that’s when all the family was getting together. Tons of fun, and tons of food! I ate way too much. But I’m still hungry. No surprise I’m sure.

So does this mean lent is over? Forgive my ignorance, I am not overly religious so I’ve never practiced. I don’t think I could give up much besides smoking. But what’s the use of giving up smoking only on fridays? ;) (yes I know, you can do it during the entire time.)

I’m pretty much settled in, everything is going rather well. Now that I have DSL, I will never go back to ISDN or Dial Up. Dial-up was horrible for me. It took me about a half an hour to check all my emails when I finally got connected! I obviously get way too much junk mail and other types of mail. But now that I have DSL, I’m A-OK. :)

Now that I’m all settled in, I’m ready to do some work! If you’re looking for a programmer for a project, let me know, I’m pretty much available! I work from home, so I got hours to burn! Contact me, and we’ll talk! Oh, I do designing and other stuff too. ;)

:) So I wonder now how my friend is doing with his thing. He gave up beer for Lent. That had to be tough! I wonder if he’s taken it back up again. ;)

Wanna write a threaded comments module for EE? I’ll give ya 20 bucks or so. :=)

You could help me figure out why my skin cookie isn’t taking.  :)

I’ve got something else, too!  You could write a “on this day” db query for me so I could display all the entries I’ve written on “April 13th” for the past 4 years.

I’d be willing to do a wishlist purchase or send you a check.  I’m thinking $20-30 bucks for your time?

threaded comments…not so sure about that. I think I’d want to wait for the API to come out first. :)

hmm for the skin cookie, just make sure it is set for domain wide in the path. i.e. “/” that did it for me.

An on this day plugin would be something good. I’ll have to see what I can come up with on that.

The path is set – I actually have a thread up in the forum (cookies not taking) and Paul looked at my code and said he didn’t see anything wrong with it. For whatever reason, after the cookie is set, when I go back to the EE page, the cookie reverts back to the default.

If you want, email me and I can give you more details.
