I visit many sites on the net, viewing incredible photographs by many incredible photographers. Many times I see criticism about how the photograph was “touched up” or “manipulated” in Photoshop. I just don’t get it. I think what some folks are failing to realize is that Photoshop is the digital darkroom.

Remember back in driving class (or whatever you took) when they told you you should stay 1 car-length per 10 mph behind the car in front of you? At least, I remember them saying that. I thought about that today, and realized no one really follows that rule. Who came up with that rule anyways? I bet it’s the same person who came up with the hands on the 10-2 or 9-3 locations of the steering wheel.
And I still think NASCAR drivers tailgate.
