Passion of the Christ

Has anyone seen this movie yet? I’ve been wanting to go see it, but I didn’t want to be in the middle of any “fanatics”. Just wondering what people think — If it’s good or crappy?

Also, another one on the list: Starsky and Hutch. Anyone see that one yet? It’s already out right?

    I’ve heard it’s just a big snuff film.  If you can take the violence, you might be OK.  I couldn’t handle the realistic violence of American History X and I’m certain I’d be ill at the violence in this movie.

    Oooh, American History X. I just about couldn’t watch that one, but I forced myself to watch it. Good movie. If passion is worse…wow.

    I think it depends on your religious background.  If you’re a not a Christian, but really like violence or a Christian who’s into making people feel bad, it’s perfect! ;)

    If you’re a Christian looking for a complete story, try to see The Gospel of John instead (assuming you have three hours to spare).

    I’m pretty much NRP, and I’m into violence. So that must mean I’ll love it? How’s the violence compare to like say, Kill Bill?

    But, it is a bit more ‘personal’ than Kill Bill.

    Ooh. I’m interested. But I bet my eyes will be half open during the movie.
