This is really old news, but I thought I’d post about it since I slacked and didn’t earlier. TextPattern Gamma 1.0 has been released. I’ve been waiting for this. Of course, it’s still Gamma, but it shows incredible potential. I’ve only installed it locally on my mac, but I might (should I find time) install it on a public web server. So far I like it.

I’ve been watching Dean’s site for like 6 months waiting for it. I got it a couple of days ago but haven’t installed it yet. How does it compare to EE?
Well, EE is in beta and just about ready to be released. It’s got most of the features already. TP is still gamma and doesn’t have all the features I know he’s gonna put in there I’m sure.
I can’t really compare them.
Hmm. I think I’ll just wait a while then.
