I decided to move any ExpressionEngine development news that I do to a new blog. The old entries will still be here, because it’s just pretty impossible to move to the different weblogs. It’s complicated stuff. I’ll be posting there for anything new I make for EE.

Ok, I started this because I wanted to separate the ExpressionEngine articles from my actual blog. I don’t really post too much in my normal blog, so I wanted to make a distinction. Once I figure out the sureproof way to change the other entries over, this will become the main ExpresionEngine resource from me. :cowtiny:

As per request, I changed the Recent Comment plugin and made it so that it shows the x most recently commented entries. The difference is that it will show the most recently commented on entry and the corresponding comment to it.

If you cannot download and save by clicking on it, just right click and then click save. There is a readme on how to install and usage as well.

Ok, I managed to create Avatars within posts for Authors. i.e. You can have an image attached to an author (or any member really that makes an entry) and have it shown in the weblog entry. Where you put this is up to you, but it should be within your {exp:weblog:entries} {/exp:weblog:entries} tags.

Ok. After a lot of putzing around, I have created a plugin for the Recent Comments thing.
If you can’t download the file by clicking on it, Then right click and click on save. I’ve included a readme with installation instructions and usage instructions.
Hopefully this is the last time I’ll be messing with it, as it seems to be working fine here right now.
