I spent a good time at the Historic Tale Construction Kit. It’s sweet! Make your own historical tale with pictures and text if you wish. You can even save them to the gallery. Ok, I spent some serious time with this. You can view what others have done as well. Have a good time, tell a good tale. The ale’s on me! (via zannah)

I’ve set up an ExpressionEngine site. It’s on a 15-day eval. or 14, who knows. Just testing things out and checking for bugs. I’m loving it so far. You can view it here. Join up, become a member, make tons of comments. I’m cool with that.

Ok, so I had to try this out. I went ahead and downloaded ExpressionEngine and got everything set up, and lo behold, I get a problem with the encryption. My server won’t support it. They’re using a third party encryption system to protect their files. I can totally understand this. I’ve put in for support and await a solution.
Regardless of that installation issue, the features look incredibly promising. From the add-ons list, it looks as if a great source for a gigantic hosted blog site. i.e. Like TypePad. I’m not sure how robust it will be, and how it would compare with a premium service like TypePad though. We shall see! I’m pretty excited.
