Ok, so pMachine announced ExpressionEngine today. Basically it’s the next generation pMachine Pro. I’m just wondering if this is for the “bigger” sites and considered “enterprise”. The package costs $199, and is $99 for upgrades from pMachine Pro.
Anyone who’s been waiting for this, you can thank me. Anytime I decide to purchase anything, they always come out with something even better! This has happened to me so many times! But that’s ok, at least I get 50% off if I decide I need to buy this.
There is a public beta available for those who wish to check it out. That’s kinda cool. What I’m really hoping is that the upgrade actually upgrades my pMachine Pro install so I don’t have to do anything! That would suck greatly.
Also, I’m wondering about the support for pMachine. There are tons of sites out there that are using pMachine now, free or Pro, and I know that would suck greatly if they just went with ExpressionEngine and dropped support for pMachine in a year or so.
