I just got done watching Singles again for the billionth time. I love that movie! Not only the music is great about this movie, it’s just one of those laughing, crying romantic comedies that I love so much. I just love the trials and tribulations the “singles” had to go through in that movie. Makes me glad I don’t have to worry about that anymore! If you haven’t seen it, rent it and see it! What took you so long?

On another note, I am trying to shoot more and more photographs. I’m trying to get my portfolio together, and could use some models to do some shots. If anyone out there is interested, please let me know! I joined up with One Model Place as a photographer. They seemed to have quite a few “famous” photographers so it looks like a good place to find models. I’m pretty impressed with the number of models and photographers in the database.

We’re supposed to get icy rain and a bit of snow tomorrow night. Just in time for Monday morning rush hour. Yay. I’m not looking forward to de-icing my car yet again after the last time. Someday, I too will have a garage. Someday.

I still think there should be a prize for not getting any numbers at all in the lottery. At least a buck. I mean, not even 1 number. I feel so unlucky.

2. What is the first thing you buy for yourself? Nikon D2H. Hands down, no doubt. With accessories. Of course.

3. What is the first thing you buy for someone else? Oh, that’s a secret. Sssssshhhhhh!

4. Do you give any away? If yes, to whom? I’m sure I would have plenty to give away to various charities, too many to mention!

5. Do you invest any? If so, how? I would almost have to invest something. So I guess I’d have to learn all about that, since I have no idea what I would invest in!

Ok, so I download Opera 7 to check out a few formatting issues on a website I’m currently working on, and man, I have to say I’m pretty impressed. I didn’t really care for Opera before, but I think it may be because I was using a version from a while back on the Mac. I’m loving it so far. I may very well convert from IE finally. Just can’t believe I haven’t checked it out before.

On a different note, I’ve been sort of inspired to shoot some more photos. You may see more of it on my Photolog.

I also actually bought powerball tickets today as well. No idea why, just thought I’d buy them. Haven’t checked to see if I won anything, since the whole whopping 2 times I’ve played before I never got even one number. >=/ Tomorrow could be a great day. Or not.

Although I do love the snow, truly I do, I’m ready for this crap snow to be gone. You know the kind of snow I’m talking about. After a couple days of salting and plowing and driving through the snow, you get that nasty brown or black or whatever snow on the ground. I like snow while it’s falling and right after it’s stopped. I really do love the sound of snow falling. It’s soooo peaceful! But this crap snow, I’m ready for it to be gone already.

I have finally come to the realization that I no longer have the time to play games. Almost seems like every time I turn around I’ve got some monster project to do. On top of that, I don’t get any time to do any of my own stuff. Not that it needs much time. Working on a couple other sites now, but who knows when I’ll actually find the time to update them. It’s all I can do now to update this site. Including my photolog.

Ok, so there were no jackpot winners for the powerball. it’s up to 74 million now? Sheesh. I guess I’ll have to play again. Maybe.

Ok, so the upgrade to 4.2 iTunes for windows is baffling me. So they made the “maximize” button right, but I liked the old one better, where it would go to mini mode. (I’m used to it on the mac.) That’s cool.

But what I’m not understanding is the burning and ipod thing. (actually this issue has been around since the beginning) I don’t have a burner in my box here at work. Yet, it insists that if I want to burn a CD, I better have the service on. But…I can’t burn CD’s. At least put some kind of detection in the program to detect CD-R’s!

Ok, I’ve seen the coolest video. (find it here – requires windows media player high bandwidth recommended, it’s HUGE) It’s incredible! It looks like this man is creating pictures and images to music using sand! I love it! The music is pretty decent too! (via jen)

My dad got into a minor accident the other night, and my mom tried to call me on my cellphone. My dad’s fine, but the thing that got me was the email my mom sent me telling me she tried to call:

“I called your cellophane earlier.”

It took me a couple days to realize what that really said. Who’s worse, the person who wrote it, or the person who reads it and thinks it’s right?

I have yet again changed a few things. I completely changed the layout as you’ll notice. I have yet again gone for the “minimalist” look. If you like it, let me know to boost my ego! LOL

I am addicted to the song Hey Ya! by Outkast. Why does this make me feel weird? I don’t know.

I am thinking about taking on new hosting accounts. But these will be in general any kind of hosting account. (not just blogs) Of course, these will be for pay only. (Although my current hosts won’t have to pay!) I’m just wondering if it’s gonna actually produce any revenue! LOL

How much does everyone out there pay for hosting? I’m just curious to know.
