It’s almost autumn

I simply can’t wait for it to be autumn. I can live without summer. I’m not too keen on the heat. >=)

CD’s and DVD’s are doomed. Interesting. But I can’t agree with this. Sure, people will download stuff, use on-demand for watching movies. But unless everyone gets the ultimate TiVo, then I’m thinking I’ll stick with DVD’s for movies. As for CD’s, well, I’ll always want to make my own mixes. Perhaps someday we’ll have a new form of media. But not today.

WIRED: Burning Man ‘03 Ashes, Dust So this year, the death of a young woman brought a big damper on the Burning Man Festival. I did want to go to this, just to experience it. Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Burning Man is. You have to see it for yourself. :)

CNET: SCO to send out Linux invoices Oh my. SCO is really putting it down now. They’re apparently getting ready to send $698 invoices to companies using commercial versions of Linux. I think they’re taking it a little too far, don’t you? That would be like me sending an invoice to Nintendo because one of their characters used my name. I mean…come on.
