It’s October now.

Holy cow, it’s October. I bet you didn’t know that October is my favourite month. I know you wondering “why?” right? Well I’m gonna tell ya. Halloween! I LOVE Halloween! It’s my favourite time! Although it’s lost it’s magick since I’ve been diagnosed with Diabetes and can’t eat the damn candy no more! But I totally love Halloween still. So many stories and such! As you may or may not know, I’m super into the paranormal. You know, like ghosts and psychics, etc. It just fascinates me! I can’t say I’m a skeptic, only because I’ve seen too many weird things.

Anyways…on to real important issues!

The Second Annual Blogger Boobie Thon is in effect. Yes, you should donate! I did. :) If you donate more than $50.00 you get a surprise! Photos are being accepted until 10/31. Donate your boobies today! Well, pictures of your boobies. ;) If you wanna just donate right now, go directly to the donations page. jules told me that more guys should participate so I might even send some pictures of my “boobies”. Not sure how good that will be though. *pondering*

Remember, it’s all about the boobies. *nods*

TGIF! TGIF! TGIF!

If you haven’t already, head on over and watch the latest Matrix Revolutions Theatrical Trailer. You might notice a few interesting things in there…

If you’re using OS X (10.2 or better), then you’ve got to get Konfabulator.

“Konfabulator is a JavaScript runtime engine for Mac OS X that lets you run little files called Widgets that can do pretty much whatever you want them to. Widgets can be alarm clocks, calculators, can tell you your AirPort signal strength, will fetch the latest stock quotes for your preferred symbols, and even give your current local weather.”

All I can say is that it’s pretty damn cool. There’s also a site to download a bunch of Widgets. You must check these out. If anything it’s pretty entertaining.

Old times…

While I was laying in bed, listening to this one CD, I thought of some old times. I felt a surge of incredible emotions as I started to remember some of the great times I had back then. Man, we had some great days. And through it all, we had the music.

Happy Equinox!

Because Dawn said so, it’s the Fall Equinox. So the amount of daylight and night are equal today. Did not know that. Regardless, it’s the first day of Autumn, and well, I’m waiting for that Autumn weather. :) I’m just about done with summer, thanks. :)

Does anyone know of any type of Image cataloging software that is good for Windows? Here’s what I want to do. Be able to put photos into respective albums and burn it to a CD. My image collection is growing vastly. I’m kinda lost on windows because I primarily used iPhoto on my Mac to keep them in order. But now that I have the Canoscan, I’ve been putting everything in Windows. I guess I could just import everything over to the Mac, but thought it would be just as easy on Windows. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a good piece of software for that.

Help!

Weekend Recap

There is no recap because I did nothing. :)

Actually I went through tons of books I have and noticed numerous amounts of outdated ones. I have absolutely no use for such books like “Shockwave for flash” or Visual C++ 5.

Yes, it was better saying nothing was done.

I did find out today though that the old Program Manager which was originally in Windows 3.1 is still in Windows XP and cannot be deleted! If you happen to delete or rename the progman.exe file, on next reboot, it will recreate it. How uncanny. I wonder how many other programs waste so much space on your hard drives. (nerdy news yes.)

Ok, so Kim suggested Pikes Peak Cam. Yeah, I’m loving it! Now it makes me want to go even more. Looking at some of the pics, it looks as if a lot of snow shows up, at the same time, it doesn’t seem as much as I thought. I might end up going out there after all. We shall see, and I’ll be sure to take many pictures.

I can’t wait. :)

AIDS Walk Saturday 9/21

Just wanted to bump this for those of you who might have missed it. Laura is participating in the Albany AIDS walk. You can find the details here. For ease of use, I put her button link below. Donate today, you only have 1 day left!

So planning a big road trip…

I’m planning a big road trip for next year, and the question I have is about Colorado. I’m really wanting to go to the Pikes Peak area. I was thinking about going there during the latter part of March to the early part of April. Is this a wise time to go up there? I’m just concerned about the snow and such. Anyone have any ideas? I suppose I could just ask Kim. ;)

It’s almost Friday.

Ok, so you’ve been wondering where I’ve been. Here’s to sum it up:

- working on new version of my blogging software. (probably will not call it psychoblogger, but it is based on it at least.)
- been crazy at work. I have to do actual work. How dare they!
- taking more photos and learning some advanced stuff. it’s fun. :)
- contemplating life, the universe, and everything.

I’m sure there are other things going on, but I can’t remember what they all are. :)

New images

I finally got back my negatives, and have posted a few new pics in the Shawnee National Forest gallery. I was surprised to get so many nice pics. Check it out. I’m just waiting for cybr to put his pics up.

Since Cybr got his new car, we’ll be driving out to Ohio to pick it up. The plan is to hit Indianapolis and take a tour of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Can’t wait! Too bad we can’t take our own cars onto the track. ;)

Looking forward to taking a few pictures! I just bought some Fujichrome Velvia 100. Read a review, and sounds like it would be great! Look for more pics in the future. :)
