For those of you in my area (St. Louis), or can make it to my area, I’m planning a Photo taking trip to Shawnee National Forest in Illinois. It’s also the location of the “garden of the gods” as well as many wonders. I’ve never been there before, but I understand it’s a rather beautiful place. The trip I believe will take a couple hours to get there. I plan on being there from noon to mid-afternoon until the evening (for a few night shots). Tripod = good idea.
