Didn’t realize you can get an ISSN Number for your blog. That’s pretty interesting. Of course I’m probably too lazy to fill out the form and send it in, even though it’s free. (via urs)

Holy crap, Gregory Hines passed away this weekend. Ugh. What’s up with that. Now that man had some serious talent! I’m still reminded of the Will and Grace episode where Jack “showed up” Hines with a tap number. Of course he allowed Jack to win. I mean… tap dance better than Gregory Hines? Come on. Ooh, and I bet very few people remember the movie Running Scared with Billy Crystal. Classic! Man…that really sucks! Just wondering how he passed on… (via lalaranel)

Kev wrote up a little rant about computers and education. I like some of his points about how no one needs to have a license to use a computer. That’s so true. Anyone can go buy a computer and start using it immediately without any knowledge or experience! Meanwhile, now that computer is on the internet and getting exposed to every single little thing.

I think it would be a good thing to at least educate or perhaps (yes I know this one is out there) take a small quiz/test before you buy a computer. The least people can do is to go get their friend that “knows computers” and ask a few questions. I’m sure that friend wouldn’t appreciate me telling everyone to do that.

If anything, I just have to say RTFM. Because most people don’t EVER do that.
