Friday Five

It’s Friday Five time! This is the “phone” edition!

1. Do you like talking on the phone? Why or why not? I’m a phone person. I don’t mind talking on the phone. I could spend HOURS on the phone.
2. Who is the last person you talked to on the phone? My friend Meesh. :) I won’t even count non-personal calls. ugh.
3. About how many telephones do you have at home? OMG. Counting cell and normal phones, about 7. But I only use one currently. I go through phones like there’s no tomorrow!
4. Have you encountered anyone who has really bad phone manners? What happened? Oh dear God, yes. I think the worst was this one person who kept eating and didn’t bother to close their mouth when they were eating. I can’t stand that in a face to face situation, why would I like it on the phone where it’s worse?
5. Would you rather pick up the phone and call someone or write them an e-mail or a letter? Why or why not? That all depends on the situation. Really. If I wanna get up close and personal, sometimes a phone call is much easier. If I know they have voicemail and don’t want to quite be so “impersonal”, then I’ll send an email. Most of the time, I’ll end up sending an email though. If I want immediate results, then I will call them, if I know they aren’t “internet-y” (i.e. nerdy) people, like me.
