Some of you may recognize the quote from the Wheel of Time series of books by Robert Jordan. For you Wheel of Time readers, I’m sure you’ll know that Crossroads of Twilight is coming soon. January 7, 2003 to be exact. 
I haven’t written here in a while, partially because I really don’t have much to write about, partially because I haven’t had an inclination to write about anything, and partially because I just don’t feel like writing.
Work is busy to say the least. It’s pretty hectic. And I don’t expect it to get any slower anytime soon. It’s like a shadow hanging over my head everywhere I go. I’m the only one here for backup should anything go down. Sure, we have others that could restart a server or two. But if something serious should happen… I’m it. It kinda weighs down on you after a while.
You’d think I had more to write about, but really, other than going to work, coming home, playing Everquest, nothing is going on. Being on call 24/7 does that to you. But hey, it’s my job. I think I need a vacation really soon.
The world is a crazy place, I tell you. I would be afraid to raise my children in this world right now. I’m sure I’d feel differently if I did have children though.
