Oh my…

I need to pick up my camera again. *sigh*

I like to dream…

I woke up this morning from a rather strange dream. I lived in a high-rise apartment. I figured it had to be because I distinctly remember living on the 30th floor. The elevator was being used for something (of which I don’t remember) and I remember having to walk up to my apartment. Of course, this was a dream, so I didn’t really walk up 30 flights of stairs. Anyways I also remember getting all the way to my apartment, dropping some stuff off, and going up one more floor, and lo behold, there was something to the effect of a supermarket there. I was taken aback, since I thought this was a residential building. But, as dreams go, you accept this odd occurance, and I went grocery shopping. :) That’s pretty much what I remember. I just thought it was the oddest dream.

Just browsing today…

and was noticing just how many people were “retiring” from blogging. I thought that was rather intriguing. I guess we all get either bored of it, ashamed of it, or in trouble for it. Or many other reasons. I suppose there are many a dry spell. Being a sometimes writer, I think I would have plenty of dryspells, but I’d greatly doubt I’d ever get tired of it. I have too much to say I think. Besides, I love to “hear” myself speak.

I also have so many things I’d like to do on a website. Because I like the “simplistic” look, I’ve always tried to cram as much into a small space and make it look “simple”. Then I end up narrowing things down and sacrificing things. Like the shouts for example.

Anyways, I just hope that those people who are “retiring” are actually “taking a break”, something like I did for a few days. :) Although now that I actually have my blog set to what I’d like to have it, I just might go back to a few other projects I’ve been meaning to get back to. (like making this blog Flash…don’t think this is going to happen anytime soon, but hey, I might just start)

Oh, and is it possible to watch too much of Japanese dramas? LOL

Ok, I took Barbie’s suggestion and rented Moulin Rouge. I loved this movie! Just loved how they did all those songs. More impressive was of course the fact that they were actually singing.

I never did think of Nicole Kidman as “sexy”. I mean she’s very beautiful, but I never thought of her sexy. :) I’m sure there are plenty of guys who would just cry out “blasphemy” with that. But you know, after watching this movie, I thought to myself, “Wow, now she is really sexy in this movie.” Ewan McGregor also did a great job. He’s always been a favourite of mine though.

If you’re looking for a great movie, I say watch this one. “You’ve never seen anything like it!” :)

Voice Weblog

Chris of Call For Help has started up his voice weblog, and I think it’s great! If you don’t get a chance to watch to show, then head on over there to at least hear his voice. Additionally, he changed his layout of his site. I like it! :)

Collateral Damage

Because this is “rental” weekend for me, the first one I watched today was Collateral Damage. If you didn’t already know this was a movie that had a delayed release date because of the 9/11 devastation. Arnold (it’s just arnold because I can’t spell his last name) is a fireman who loses his family to a terrorist bombing. So you can see that it’s just about identical to 9/11.

I thought this movie was not so bad. Granted it was not one of Arnold’s better movies like Twins or Total Recall, it was still pretty good to watch. Especially if you were looking for good explosions and a little bit of intrigue. (though not very much, I had figured it out pretty quickly)

I’d say if you like to watch Arnold movies, rent it. If anything it will make a couple hours pass by. :)

Of course, I guess you never really know. :) I’ve been contemplating bringing back the shouts, but I’m stuck as to where to put it. :p I also threw around the idea of having a forums area, but not so sure about that either. Hmm. We shall see.
