Does anyone out there know if there is a Six Degrees of Bloggage? Someone should start it. LOL I say this only because I was just looking through, and lo behold, julie lives not 45 minutes away from me, and knows someone I work with! How odd is that. Of course, when I saw that she lived (her whole life) in Bunker Hill, IL I just about had diet pepsi coming out my nose. It’s really a small world you know. :)

And congratulations go to julie as she will be tying the knot in about…14 days? :) (correct me if I’m wrong there julie) I wish her and Brad all the best.

I’m not married yet. Please, no proposals. As if. :)

On a different note, my friend Frankie says I lost weight. This could be true. And he hasn’t seen me in like what, 6 years now I think. Wow. How time flies when you’re having fun.

mental note: put spell checker into psychoblogger.

Friday Five

  1. Where were you born? Tokyo, Japan, right smack dab in the middle of it. :)
  2. If you still live there, where would you rather move to? If you don’t live there, do you want to move back? Why or why not? Yes, I want to move back. I miss all the really cool things in Japan. Although I could probably never stay there for too long. But you never know. :)
  3. Where in the world do you feel the safest? Well, I felt pretty safe while I was in Japan. :) I never locked the doors, the windows, etc. Alas…I miss it. (I’m sure all the Japanese drama’s I’m watching doesn’t make it any better. :)
  4. Do you feel you are well-traveled? A few people have told me that I am, but I don’t feel so. I haven’t been to South America, Australia, Europe, or Africa. Hell, I haven’t been to Southeast Asia except the Phillipines. I mean I’ve traveled throughout the USA quite a bit. But that’s not even a quarter of the world really.
  5. Where is the most interesting place you’ve been? Hmm. I’d almost have to say the P.I. Nothing quite like tropical weather, the people, the culture, the food, and more. I was only there for 1 year, but it felt like I had spent much longer there. I loved it.

Well, I *thought* I started blogging on psychodaisy.com last year about this time, but lo behold, I looked at my blogger archives and I started using blogger on 6/7/01. Oh well, birthdays are overrated anyways. Kinda like sleep is overrated. :)

Yoshi-cam is back!

Well, I finally brought back what I think is the last of “add on” stuff I’m going to have. (of course, I’m lying because I know I’ll figure out a way and reason to put more stuff on this page) The Yoshi-cam is now back. I’ll probably put up an archives section. I’m just not sure exactly how I’m going to do it just yet. :) We shall see.

New Poll

Yes, I have added a new poll! Finally huh? :) I hope everyone participates, it’s only two clicks after all. Not quite as easy as the Paper or Plastic poll though. :p

The Minimalist Web Project

I just want to say a few words about these mad hits I’ve gotten from this one site alone. The Minimalist Web Project is “a collection of good-looking websites that are built with minimalism in mind, the idea of beauty through ‘less is more’.” I’m truly honoured to be on this list! I’ve been a firm believer of “simple is better”. There are of course many sites that still look great and have awesome content with incredible looking graphics and interfaces! I’m just not that kind of a person. :) I like my space to be clean and clear cut. Which is probably one reason I had tried to cut out so much of the “side bar” stuff.

Regardless, before I start blabbering like I usually do, I highly recommend you visit this site and check out the rest of the sites up there. There are plenty of sites that are much better than mine. I’m just a simple guy living in a complex world.

On that note, I really need to get this site going. :) People have been asking me about Psychoblogger. Truthfully, I’ve just been neglecting it. But the backend of psychodaisy.com is psychoblogger, so I’m still finding things that I want to change, improve, fix, etc. I don’t think I want to rush out a beta or alpha release, since I’m really picky about these things. :) I’ll go ahead and take the same stance that id software has taken with all of their games:

“It’ll be out when it’s out.”
