I just got done watching Say Anything… for like the millionth time. Everytime I watch it, I think I love it more. Not only is it by one of my favourite directors Cameron Crowe, it has one of my favourite actors, John Cusack in it. This time, though I decided to watch it with the audio commentary. (Alas, the beauty of DVD’s.) I think it also helped that the commentary was done by Cameron Crowe, John Cusack and Ione Skye. The three of those commenting on the film just renewed my love for this movie.
Thinking back on this film, I cannot help but think during those years, I was quite similar to Lloyd Dobler. The fact that Lloyd was not a super popular person in high school made it great for me. You know what I mean, all the great things always happens to the popular folks who have the body of a supermodel or body builder. 
Of course, I don’t really believe that, but a lot of movies do.
I still think that the scene where Lloyd was holding up the boombox was one of the best. But I think I also forgot about a lot of scenes and lines in there. After watching the movie again, I just brought a lot of it back. Sometimes I think it would have been great to live my life like that. Like laurita once said, “I wish my life was an 80’s movie”. (or something to that effect.)
It made me think about other things too. I remember talking to one of my friends Michelle and once and she said, “You know, I really miss missing someone.” I feel like that right now. I miss that. You know what she means. Yeah, think about it for a while. 
As you can see I’ve added a few things to the site. I’m thinking about ressurecting my webcam as well, although I’m still not quite sure about that yet. But meanwhile, if you haven’t watched Say Anything lately, perhaps you should.
