Got a flat tire today. What a Monday it’s been so far. Bleah.
I talked to my Dad this weekend (the dad who raised me, not my bio-dad who has passed), and apparently he has a melanoma on his head, and they’re doing a biopsy on it. And then he had an EKG done, and the cardiologist, through extensive testing I’m sure has determined that there could be blockage in his heart. I told my dad to quit smoking immediately. (hypocritical, i know, my sister said the same thing) So I’m waiting to hear about my dad’s echo-cardiogram and the results of the biopsy. When it rains, it pours I tell you.
On a different note.
Do you ever have one of those days where everything is just nostalgic to you? I mean the music you hear, the way the sky looks, the weather, the atmosphere just reminds you of a time long ago? It’s definitely one of those days for me. I’m hearing songs (Creed – My Sacrifice is one) and it’s just reminding me of a rainy day in Japan back in ‘94 sitting in the barracks at Iwakuni. Wondering what we’re going to do that day. Listening to something like Pearl Jam or Live. I can almost smell the ocean air. Ever get like that? I do all the time.
Ooh, Robyn put me on her list of new favourite reads.
Isn’t she a sweeite?
