Actually I was also looking at an old website that I don’t maintain anymore, and found a bunch of images I keep forgetting to put into my gallery/photolog. I just thought I’d share this one with you. This is a picture of me in front of the Hiroshima Bomb Dome. This was left as is after the bombing of Hiroshima in World War II. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Ok, I just simply had to post this one:

This -or- That? (It’s Late)

  1. Charcoal or gas BBQ grill? I like the Charcoal. But it’s been a while since I’ve done any BBQing myself. :)
  2. Beach or pool? Beach for hanging out. Pool for swimming. :) Won’t catch me swimming in the ocean anytime soon. :)
  3. Sneakers or sandals? Sneakers.
  4. Sunblock or suntan lotion? Suntan lotion. :)
  5. Iced tea or iced coffee? Ooh I haven’t had iced coffee in a long time! :) I like that!
  6. Touristy beach town or quiet camping trip? I’d rather go on a quiet camping trip.
  7. Theme park or baseball game? Baseball game. I’m up to -here- with theme parks. :)
  8. One or two piece swimsuit? (ladies…which do you prefer to wear; guys, which would you prefer a woman to wear?) Well, I don’t have a preference, really. :)
  9. Bicycling or rollerblading? Bicycling.
  10. It’s 95 degrees outside. Do you prefer to go outside in the heat, or stay in and hide behind the air-conditioner? Give me air conditioning please. It was invented for a reason! ;p

I love the rainy days. Makes me daydream more often I suppose. What’s going through my head at this moment? (and in no particular order)

  • I miss Japan
  • I want to watch more Japanese “Dorama’s” (more about this in a sec)
  • Wish I had more money
  • Man when I was stationed in Japan with the US Navy it really seemed like it sucked, but it was probably the best times of my life. (so far)
  • Must find more mp3’s of Nakashima Mika. Awesome voice. Pretty too. :)
  • Wonder what all my friends are doing in Japan right now.
  • Hamasaki Ayumi isn’t bad at all. Her music is pretty decent. Wish it could be a little more “trance-ish” though. :)

Hmm. I see a theme developing. I know what you’re thinking. I’m thinking a lot about Japan. Yeap. Ever since I found this IRC channel where I can download Japanese “Dorama”, I’ve been on a Japan kick.

What’s Japanese “Dorama”? Basically they’re shows on Japanese TV. :) It’s not necessarily a drama per se like NYPD Blues or E.R. They can be rather funny. The one thing I really really like about them is that they actually end after about 14 or so episodes. I mean they actually end. They don’t drag out 7 years and slowly deteriorate and you begin to wonder why you watched the show in the first place. *cough* Friends. I remember talking to my mom about it. They actually have a beginning and an end. I love them. They can be so hilarious.

And of course you watch the ones that your favourite actor/actress. It’s all a popularity contest really. Who is much more popular. It’s like that in Japan. :)

Right now the Dorama I’m watching is “Merry Christmas in Summer”. It’s about this girl who grew up in an orphanage in the country and finally leaves and goes to Tokyo to see her other orphan siblings and her big “brother” she hasn’t seen in ages. It’s really funny! Of course, I’ve found that Japanese humour is a bit different than American humour. I suppose if you lived in the culture you would understand better. :) So here I am, looking for more Japanese Dorama! :)

If anyone knows a better and much more reliable source than IRC, I’d love to get more Dorama. Please let me know! :)

Friday Five

  1. What’s the last vivid dream that you remember having? Wow, I don’t recall. Probably this one. :)
  2. Do you have any recurring dreams? Oh yes. I’m sure I’ve written it somewhere in this blog somewhere. But it’s always the one at the high school, and there’s the girl. It’s the strangest thing. Although as of late, I haven’t had those dreams. Weird.
  3. What’s the scariest nightmare you’ve ever had? OMG, that has to be the ones I can never remember. I just wake up, in a cold sweat, and know I had the scariest dream, but I can never remember them.
  4. Have you ever written your dreams down or considered it? Why or why not? I think the answer to that one is obvious. :) I’ve found that you are much more likely to remember your dreams if you at least keep a dream diary or journal. It’s a proven fact. Well, at least in my world. :)
  5. Have you ever had a lucid dream? What did you do in it? Ironically enough, I really don’t remember if I’ve had a lucid dream.

Call me crazy

Call me crazy but I really really like the little animated images that eleta has on her site. I mean they’re really cutesy and stuff sure, but they’re so cool! Makes me want to make little pokemon animated gifs. Heh. I’ve had this observation for a while, I just now decided to say something about it. :)

Photos

I have not been taking enough photos. Nothing to show for the nice camera equipment I have. Or decent at least. Still needing some good lenses. Lack the funds for that *sigh*.

Anyways I hope to start taking more pictures. I seem to use my digital camera much more often. Wow, now that I think about it, I have film yet to develop. Ack. Must get on it! Man, I need a darkroom. More money. LOL I need to win the lottery or something. Someone buy me a winning ticket please. :)

Oops! I did it again!

I know what you’re thinking. WTF! Yes, I changed the site and transformed it into this new design. Why? Perhaps I got a bit too tired of the old humdrum look. Or the fact that it looks too much like PHP-Nuke or slashdot, etc. Sooooo…

I’m going to be reworking Psychoblogger. I’ve decided that it’s going to be a lot better off using templates for formatting, ala Gray Matter or Moveable Type. If anyone has any suggestions on what they would like to see, etc, let me know at the Psychoblogger website.

Because I wanted to get a change going soon, I just decided to throw something out there. :) So here’s my new design…for now. :)

Well, I finally saw it. I really did like it, though it was a bit slow at parts. There should have been more fighting. I wanted to see more fighting. And when in the world will George Lucas stop making Obi Wan seem like such a wimp. *sigh* Other than that, go see it if you liked episode 1. :)
