I don’t have Food network. Now how am I supposed to watch the Iron Chef and Emeril??? I should have looked for that first and asked when I called up to order it if they were planning on getting that station in.
Anyways, it took a whopping 5 minutes (if that) to turn on cable. It’s simply amazing that they should even think about charging you an “installation” fee. All the guy did was say, “Ok, check it out, is it working?” Errrm….Isn’t that your job? To make sure it works? LOL It’s ok I hooked it up worked fine. Made sure TechTV came up just fine.
But the cable guy was cool. He was mentioning that they are getting ready to install cable modem soon. OMG I hope there is some truth to that. ISDN is great, but it’s still slow and expensive compared to either DSL or Cable, neither of which I get here. /sigh.
Oh, and on a good note, they just happened to be running a week long special of free HBO2 and Cinemax2. I didn’t subscribe to those. That’s what rentals and cheap-ass DVD’s are for nowadays.
But regardless I still get that for free, I can’t complain about that.
Gotta love technology.
