Something to share.

I remember getting this from a friend that said they read it in a Dear Abby column a number of years back. From what I understand, this poem was found by a daughter who was going through her mother’s items in the attic after she had passed away. She realized she never had the chance to tell her mother how much she loved her. Perhaps we could all learn this lesson.

The Time is Now
author unknown

If you are ever going to love me,
love me now, while I can know
The sweet and tender feelings
Which from true affection flow.

Love me now,
While I am living.
Do not wait until I am gone
And then have it chiseled in marble
Sweet words on ice-cold stone.

If you have tender thoughts of me
Please tell me now
If you wait until I am sleeping
Never to awaken,
There will be death between us
And I will not hear you then.

So, if you love me, even a little bit,
Let me know it while I am still living,
So I can treasure it.

new skin coming soon…

I was just going to redesign psychodaisy.com. I was going to get rid of psychoblogger and thought, what am I nuts? So I’m working on a new skin. I think I might even make it the default skin. It’s really very simple. I like it. The design is still evolving, so if you’re curious to see it, you’ll have to wait. Then it’s off to work on an updated version of psychoblogger. :) oy! my work is never done!

The strangest dream…

I was in a really old hospital, and it was busy. I think I was working there in a small area that was boring. I have no idea what my job function was. Who knows, I was walking around this one area, and I was looking for something, and I wandered into what I thought could have been the ER, but I know I was on the 2nd or 3rd floor. There were people running everywhere. The environment was dark, almost a “Freddy Krueger-ish” hospital setting. Where the walls were old, you could tell it had been around a long time. I was walking around, smoking a cigarette. (which btw, this is probably the first dream ever where I was smoking) and I came across a few people I knew, waved and said hello. Then I went to this one bathroom that was the “designated” smoking area. In the bathroom, the shower was running, no curtain, no one was in there so I turned it off. Someone else came in, and then I woke up. Strange…
