“can you meet your soulmate through a recurring dream” Whoever was looking for that, I have to say that’s a rather interesting question. Can you? Well I’ll give my opinion about dreams and how *I* think they interconnect with the “real” world.
Anyone who has read The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan would be familiar with the dream world called the Tel’aran’rhiod. Basically it’s a world that mirrors our own world, and have striking similarities.
I believe that such a world can truly exist. Sure, why not? The world of dreams could be quite real. It could even be interpreted as Purgatory, The Void, or whatever. Inside this world we live our parrallel lives, our own “dream-self” if you will. And in this dream world, we may encounter others who are doing the same. Who’s to say that all dreams in the world are not interconnected in some way shape or form?
Because in the dream world, rules are different, we could perceivably travel the globe, hop from one place to another in an instant, and perhaps even become someone or something else. We can perform amazing feats such as flying or super human strength. If you thought about it for a while, it’s not entirely unbelievable.
For instance, anyone who doesn’t believe that there are no such things as miracles, or even magick, as I would sometimes call it, is denying something. I mean how can you not believe it?
But I digress.
If we could perceivably be anywhere on this globe, and perhaps even at any given time, why would you not be able to meet your soul mate? Eventually you may see someone in your dreams with whom you are very comfortable with. You know them, yet they are unfamiliar to you. You don’t know their name, yet you know everything about them. Perhaps you only know their favourite colour, their favourite food, but you do know them. It’s quite possible I think.
Recurring dreams are often dismissed as “non-prophetical” dreams. I have to believe otherwise. I’ve had too many recurring dreams with too many coincidental things happen to not believe it. I’m sure if any dream interpreter out there was reading this right now they’d have my neck, but hey, I believe it.
So you’re dreaming one night, and you meet this wondeful person. You talk endlessly about nothing, spend numerous amounts of time together, and then you wake up. You get a lingering memory what they looked like, what they smelled like, what they sounded like. But you don’t remember their name or where they lived or anything relevant to finding them. But you don’t seem to care because “it was only a dream.” Meanwhile, hundreds or even thousands of miles another person wakes up and has the same experience. About you. How about that?
Perhaps I’m just a dreamer, but I believe it can happen. And if you believe in something, how can it be false?
Now I bet someone’s going to come along and try to burst my bubble. You do know of course that if you made it this far to read this part that sometimes I just ramble on and on. Sometimes I have no idea what I’m saying. I know what I mean, and well that’s good enough for me. ![]()
